Our operating philosophy is founded on the amalgamation of the proven success, expertise and competence of its executive team. The leadership team consists of the following;
Christopher Shan – Chief Executive Officer
Chris has extensive experience in implementing Microsoft .Net and SAP projects. This gives him the capability to lead enterprise-wide projects that require the integration of both technologies. Chris was the Operations Director of the outsourcing company Cosis, providing accounts payable, accounts receivable, administration and logistical services in the telecoms industry.
Chris has provided Strategic IT Advisory Services to companies such as BP(SA) and Spoornet based on his experience and background on implementing and working on ERP systems such as SAP, JDE and BAAN. Previously, Chris was a Senior Manager in the Strategy and Operations competency at Deloitte Consulting, where he played the role of Subject Matter Expert in Shared Services Centres (SSC), Business Process Outsourcing and Re-engineering. He was responsible for Quality Assurance on the SAP implementation for BHP Billiton and also advised Anglo Platinum in leveraging their SSC which runs on a SAP platform.
Furthermore, he was part of a senior management team that completed the SAP feasibility study for the DeBeers Group. Chris was a project manager responsible for the implementation of a JDE payroll for Nampak. Chris was the project manager responsible for restructuring the full Harmony Finance Department which included a review of their ERP system.
Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting Chris was the Project Manager at SABMiller, responsible for the successful set-up and implementation of an internationally recognised Shared Services Centre together with a SAP implementation. Due to the success of the SSC, Chris was invited to speak at conferences locally and in the USA.
Prior to SABMiller he worked at Barloworld divisions in the positions of Business Systems Manager where he was responsible for leveraging the BAAN system and implementing MRP. In addition he held positions of Operations Manager and Group Operations Analyst.
Ayal Rosenberg – Chief Technology Officer
Ayal delivers the Patterns and Practices sessions on a national basis. Ayal is part of the Microsoft Patterns & Practices Smart Client and CAB Forums based in Redmond. Ayal has been nominated as the only Regional Director in South Africa for Microsoft. Ayal has authored numerous white papers for Microsoft and SA Developer.
Previously Ayal was a founding member of Orchestrating Components (OC) Notable achievements were: Strategic IT adviser to the CEO of the South African Post Office (SAPO), Lead technical advisor with IBM, Xerox and Consology. Architect and Analyst for the ABSA call centre. OC were awarded a tender from the SAPO for a custom postal parcel system.
Prior to founding OC Ayal was the Managing Director of Grey Interactive SA which is the technology division of Grey Worldwide and he was the Chief Technical Director at Lasso Communications which was the software and interactive internet division of Grey Advertising. Ayal was responsible for the development team who developed ASP applications for clients such as Mazda, Smithkline-Beecham, British American Tobacco. A major achievement was the development of the first online airline booking system for Sunair.
